Day 07 – Off to Porto … Here we go!

Left the hotel in Rome at 4 am for a 6:39 flight to Porto …. not fun. Flight was not bad on the old Wizz Air. Niki had the grand plan to take it easy today walking to rest up …. but that didn’t happen. Clocked in around 24k steps in the very hilly city of Porto. So, all in all, we clocked about 71 miles of walking in the vacation stage of the trip. Time to rest up to start the camino bright and early in the am. Forecast calls for rain in the am to greet us …. go figure!

Picked up our Camino compostella, aka pilgrim passport. We will get these stamped along the way to prove we walked all 225 miles.
