A short day miles wise… but our steepest climb of the trip. We woke up feeling our sangria and bottle of wine from dinner for sure. Weather was finally fantastic. The climb up reminded us of a typical Montana hike, so we were in our element. If it were raining today it would have been a tough and slippery climb. It was nice arriving at the alberque early .. got clothes washed and dried so we are good for a few days now. Had dinner with some of our new camino friends. Pearl, Valter, and flora. I am sure we will be known as their Camino mom and Dad as they were all under the age of 30. 😳 We were gonna have a dry day but the kids talked us into having some wine with them. We did limit it to just 2 glasses of vihno bronca. Enjoy the pics. We missed getting a pic with the kids but maybe tomorrow. We head for spain in the morning. Portugal has been good to us! Bom Camino will now turn to Buen Camino.
