Take 2! So we wrote our entire post, and somehow it got deleted … so this is round 2 😁
Today started out sketchy as the toilet in our alburque was broken. After working through that issue, we headed to the local cafe for a coffee, which was closed. Boo! We headed forward and found a cafe a few miles ahead. We had a nice coffee and breakfast. Niki picked up a few camino pins for her pack.. a few miles up, we met back up with our Dutch camino friends Flora. We walked together all day and finally reached the final Portuguese town of Valencia. Very neat city. We then crossed the half mile bridge and entered Spain. Goodbye Portugal. Spending the night in Tui tonight and trekking on our longest day of the trip tomorrow, which is 22.5 miles. AND Niki has agreed to stay on a proper hostel tomorrow. Should be an experience.
